Welcome to a set of four walkthrus for Uninvited, from Mindscape. These walkthrus were designed for struggling adventurers who can’t find their way thru the haunted mansion. They were originally uploaded to GEnie as four separate files, but are now in one compact Stuffit archive, along with this file, because it’s frustrating to get through some puzzles, get stuck, look at a walkthru and find that the portion you have ends there! They have been retouched for this archive: typos fixed, paragraphs reformatted (when uploading text straight to GEnie, you have to split lines manually), “curly” apostrophes and quotes added, etc.
A note about these walkthrus: they are explicit directions, but usually provide hints before giving an answer to a puzzle. So if you have a desk accessory like MockWrite or miniWriter, you can open a walkthru in the middle of the game and scroll through it, only viewing what you need. Or you can print them out and look at them. This brings me to my next point; walkthrus can spoil the fun of solving the puzzles if overused. So use them only as a last resort.
